Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality | casino

Safety is our number one priority and is our licence to operate. This means the safety of our clients, the general public and our people drives everything we do.

Our goal of zero harm, supported by our industry-leading rolling Accident Frequency Rate, drives everything we do. The focus of our safety culture enabled us to be the first utility service provider to receive OHSAS 18001 accreditation and receiving year-on-year safety awards from the British Safety Council and RoSPA.

Sustainability is driven throughout the business by our people, our clients and our supply chain. Our achievements are measured by independent organisations including Achilles Verify, LRQA and Lloyds Register.

Our commitment to reducing our carbon emissions has been formally recognised with our Achilles Verify accreditation and our participation in the Carbon Emissions Management and Reduction Scheme (CEMARS).

We are committed to reducing our waste to landfill and we are constantly looking to identify opportunities for the recycling of materials. We are also currently involved in the research and development of alternative reinstatement materials, working closely with the Waste and Resources Action Plan (WRAP) to make this a reality for our business.

As formal evidence of our commitment and success in running a sustainable operation while protecting the environment and our communities, we are audited under the following systems: ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems).
